Democracy Rising: No Tyrants in Vancouver

On October 18 in coordination with local and international groups we staged a No Tyrants Day rally and march. The rain took a toll on our signs but not our spirits. We agitated our way from the Art Gallery down Burrard to Jack Poole Plaza, where we joined a large event hosted by a Vancouver group affiliated with the 50501 movement. Thanks to them for their excellent demonstration. Though nothing like the hundreds of thousands marching in US cities, more and more people are sympathetic and feel they need to act. With more volunteers we can grow a solidarity network to to help disuade authoritarians. We advocate and practice non-violence to embolden our country to question the authority of billionaires and maga lookalikes.
